{"id":1452,"date":"2011-06-16T10:45:44","date_gmt":"2011-06-16T15:45:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.syntheticoilhq.com\/blog\/bryce-menzies-wins-baja-500\/"},"modified":"2011-11-20T01:47:23","modified_gmt":"2011-11-20T07:47:23","slug":"bryce-menzies-wins-baja-500","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.syntheticoilhq.com\/blog\/bryce-menzies-wins-baja-500\/","title":{"rendered":"Bryce Menzies Wins Baja 500 | Amsoil."},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amsoil.com\/storefront\/synthetic-off-road-truck-oil.aspx?zo=313120\" target=\"_blank\">All <strong>Amsoil<\/strong> truck products on one page<\/a><\/h3>\n<h3>Amsoil<\/h3>\n<p>As a contender in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amsoilracing.com\/Series\/TORC.aspx\">Traxxas TORC Series presented by <em>Amsoil<\/em> <\/a>Pro 2wd class, Bryce Menzies has an easy time focusing on the chaos that surrounds short course racing.\u00a0 But it&#8217;s the uncontrollable chaos of desert racing that fuels the Red Bull\/<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Amsoil<\/span> driver, and the Las Vegas native determined to that 2011 was his year to tame Baja.<\/p>\n<p>A group of the top off-road desert racers rolled off the start of the Baja 500 early Saturday morning.\u00a0 Menzies, along with co-driver Peter Mortenson, was first off the line and led the prestigous race wire-to-wire.\u00a0 The duo enjoyed clean air in their Trophy Truck and as the cruised to the overall win Saturday evening.\u00a0 By the end of the race, they had won the event by more than 12 minutes.<\/p>\n<h2>Amsoil<\/h2>\n<p>Up next for Menzies Motorsports, which also includes Pro 4&#215;4 driver Ricky Johnson and Pro Lite driver Luke Johnson, will be at the TORC race in Crandon, Wis.
