Although he fell at the first turn in the MX1\/MX2 moto, he quickly recovered to move from 38th place all the way to 12th by the end of the race, earning the third MX2 placement in the race. In the MX2\/MX3 moto, Canard got stuck in traffic, but moved up to finish a respectable seventh.
