SAE 20W-50 Synthetic Motorcycle Oil (MCV)

demand the absolute best lubrication for their motorcycles. AMSOIL Motorcycle Oil is the result of extensive research, and it is specially formulated to excel in all areas unique to motorcycles, including high engine RPM, wet-clutch lubrication, extreme-pressure regions of gears and rust common to short drives and storage.

AMSOIL SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil features superior heat resistance and wear protection. It is shear-stable and helps maintain proper oil pressure in elevated temperatures. AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil stops viscosity breakdown (loss), protects gears and chains, and meets SAE 140, API GL-1 gear oil requirements. It is multi-functional and fulfills the requirements of both domestic and foreign motorcycles. AMSOIL SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil outperforms other conventional and synthetic motorcycle oils.

AMSOIL, the leader in synthetic lubrication, produced the world’s first API-qualified synthetic motor oil in 1972. Trust the extensive experience of AMSOIL, The First in Synthetics,® to do the best job protecting your motorcycle.

Reduces Friction, Heat and Wear
In high heat conditions, engine protection is not sacrificed with AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil. It has exceptional high-temperature film strength and contains a heavy treatment of anti-wear additives to reduce wear regardless of operating conditions. AMSOIL SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil is thermally (heat) stable and contains maximum levels of oxidation inhibitor additives. It is extremely resistant to breakdown and engineered to prevent damaging sludge and carbon deposits for superior engine cleanliness.

Extreme-Pressure Protection for Gears
With AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil, there is no need for a separate transmission lubricant

. It is shear-stable and will not thin out from mechanical activity. AMSOIL SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil performs like a gear lube without the negative effects of extreme-pressure additives.

Superior Rust Protection
Motorcycles are prone to rust from storage, humidity and short drives. Rust can cause major damage such as roller bearing failure, uncontrolled wear, compression loss and blow-by. Good rust protection, however,

comes by design and is not natural to engine oils. Unlike many motorcycle oils, AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil contains special anti-rust agents.

Excellent Wet-Clutch Performance
AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil contains no friction modifiers and promotes smooth shifting and positive clutch engagement. It controls heat and helps prevent slippage and glazing, while its high TBN helps improve clutch life by resisting the acids that can degrade clutch material.

Learn More About ATV Tires And Wheels

ATV wheels have the same characteristic: defined threads, durable tear and snag resistant tire material and large balloon like construction as any other tire produced.

Definitely the most ingenious aspect of ATV is in its wheels, no arguments. ATVs defining factor is the ATV wheels, making it possible for ATVs to travel and work even in the absence of roads.

All ATV wheels have the same characteristic: large defined threads or knobs for better traction in all kinds of terrain, extra durable tear and snag resistant material for the tire bodies to protect it against puncture from sharp objects, and large balloon-like construction to help the wheels avoid small pits and rocks on the trail. It also helps the wheel climb out of any obstacle. And in some cases afford flotation.

When necessity initiated the ATVs invention in Japan, ATV wheels were the deciding factor in its success. Osamu Takeuchi led the development team that was assigned by Honda Research & Development to develop a vehicle suited for winter travel. The outcome was the development team spawning a prototype vehicle with six ATV wheels. But still the invention didnt have the cutting edge technology that will enable it to meet the demand.

However, when Osamu Takeuchi got hold of an American invention called the Amphi Cat, the design process quickly hasten to completion. The Amphi Cat had rolled on six 20 inch low pressure high flotation balloon tires, and Osamu Takeuchi revamped his ATV invention until it can accept the Amphi Cats wheel which became the trademark of modern day ATV wheels.

To date, there are various types of ATV wheels that are designed to meet specific terrain conditions. Though most wheel types still work adequately on other terrain, there are such ATV wheels that would perform poorly on a specific terrain. One instance would be the race tires against sand dunes.

Race tires are usually developed to create greater traction on different conditions, this wheel type has defined knobs and threads in its design. Also, some of these tires are flatter to afford ample hold on the terrain.

Trail tires are usually are created to be more durable to defend against punctures against sharp objects such as rocks or wood splinters in its design. Some of these tires are large, balloon-like construction to afford flotation (defense against sinking in bogs and sandy parts) in soggy terrain and mud.

Sand tires are sometimes referred to as Paddle Tires since the threads do exactly just that – to paddle. These tires are usually made balloon-like, with few but enormously large threads. The balloon construction will help avoid sinking even in the softest sand and the enormous threads afford traction.

How To Get Amazing Deals On Repossessed Motorbikes

Recently, more and more bikers have begun to see the value in buying Repossessed Motorcycles at government auctions.

Today, even more motorcyclists than ever are purchasing bikes at auction sites across the country. It’s not just you can save yourself a huge chunk of change, many people have managed to buy almost new bikes which have never been ridden.
However, most people don’t understand how repo auctions operate and end up out of pocket and out of luck because they didn’t follow the basic rules of repo auction bidding. Right now, Consequently here are the three most important things to remember when bidding at auctions.

Make sure you Come Prepared:

It is important to spend a decent amount of time looking at the bikes on sale before the auction begins. A lot of bidders presume you have to “think fast” to come out the winner in the middle of a speedy auction. But getting the bike you want does not mean you have to think quickly; it requires diligent homework. You must look at the condition along with the history of service of all the Repo Motorcycles For Sale diligently. This will save you much of hassle in the future.

Don’t Bring your Emotions with You:

It is the auctioneer’s job to get you excited. You are there not to fall under his spell. This is why it is so crucial to do your homework and make your decisions ahead of time. You know which motorcycles are are the ones for you after inspecting them. Before the auction begins you should establish a limit for how much you are willing to spend; and and don’t violate it! There are auctioners who can be very pushy and try to convince you to bid more. They may say things like, “What’s 100 bucks for a bike like this?” But for you this shouldn’t make any difference. You made up your mind hours earlier.

Read The Fine Print:

Buying Repossessed Motorcycles is just like any other big investment. You should read over the rules which the auctioneer lays down, particularly the small print. Read the documentation fee, buyer’s fee, payment terms, bidder’s deposit, in what time frame you have to pay, rules of arbitration, returns, and what is the time frame for you to take the bike from the lot.

It is also a good idea to consult your own state’s regulations to find out what you need to do to register your bike. By checking all of these, you will prevent any bad surprises and means you can set your bidding limit without having to worry about covering all the additional charges.

If you adhere to these three golden pieces of advice then you’ll be in an excellent position to secure an amazing deal and save yourself thousands of dollars. Auctions are not for the people with a get rich quick mentality. But with some prep, you will put yourself way out in front of everyone else.

Women Riders Nowadays And In The Past

I recall when I was about 11 years old earlier in my previous neighborhood. I was playing out side and I heard the thunder of a Harley Davidson approaching up the road. It sounded so good it caught my attention and I looked up just in time to see the woman riding slowly stopping at the stop sign on the corner. Wow! Cool Thinking to myself. I had by no means seen a woman riding her own motorcycle before. Back then there were not a lot of women riders.

The women wasn’t big at all, and as she happened to take off from the stop sigh she spilled the bike. It was more like she dumped the clutch; lost her footing and she dropped the bike. Well envision, never seeing a bike riding women before and then watching her ditch the bike. It was quite the display.

I have to acknowledge, she had a set. Swear words came flying out of her mouth and I believe at one moment she even kicked the fallen bike. I think she was quite self-conscious. She didn’t skip a rhythm though, she to it and she picked that Motorcycle up and jumped right back on it an off she went.

Let’s move ahead in time about forty years. Though it took close to four decades, women have come to the understanding that motorcycle riding isn’t just for men. Women have come to terms with their fears and the typecast that the bitch rides on the back. More and more you can glance at any major intersection and catch sight of women riders.

Its not just little girly girl 250 cc scooters these women are riding, they are riding full-blown big girl motorbikes, motorcycles like Harley Davidson Sportsters, Softails and full dressers. They can also beseen riding Metric motorcycles like 1500 cc Kawasaki’s, Yamaha’s and Hondas. Still some brave few; ride super fast Sports bikes formally known as crotch rockets.

Go to any motorcycle meeting and have a brief glimpse all-around. I’ll bet, on any particular day about 30% of the riders there will be women riding their own bike.

It isn’t just that women motorcycle riders have had an arousing, a emergence of sorts. It’s that they are organizing as well. It was accustomed to be that the motorcycle clubs were a male dominated gathering. Bike organizations were made up of men that drove the motorbike and their biker mamas that rode on the back. Well that’s all different right now that women are getting off the back and ride their individual motorbikes.

Women’s motorcycle organizations: groups and Associations are bouncing up every where. If you have a laptop with Internet access, go on line and investigate women riders, women motorbike organizations or women bike riders groups. You will discover thousands of bike groups, clubs and organizations that are women Rider specific and that only consent to other women to join.

I guess it was just about time… I have been a biker of some 36 years, I don’t have any hard feelings about this womanly bike modernization. I say kudos it’s about time. Even if, I loved the day’s that I had my woman on the back and she had her arms and legs tightly wrapped around me, I am loving it just as much riding alone with my motorcycle mama riding by my side.
