Kite The Bay A New San Francisco Kite Surfing Company Says The Use Of A Jet Ship To Help In Kite Surfing Expeditions : Amsoil.

<!–ACNTP

San Francisco kite surfing company, Kite the Bay uses a 21 foot jet ship to provide support to kite surfing customers. The boat, named Windseeker, can take almost 6 folks and their gear on a kite surfing expedition. It affords more space and comfort than the more classic “jet ski” that has been the traditional support boat used by plenty of other kite surfing colleges. “Using a jet ship has so many edges over the jet ski” says Captain John, owner of San Francisco kite surfing lessons press releases, Kite the Bay. Not only is it more delightful for the students to be on the water, but people can take breaks in the ship while their partner is out in the water practicing with the kite.

“When they come out of the water, they relax, and watch their buddies work on the moves. It really speeds up the learning process,” Captain John adds. “It’s great when I’m able to come out with my three friends and we all learn together,” remarks Chris, who started kite surfing lessons and learning how to kite surf with his buddies Martin and Dave in July. “It’s great having all of the gear here in the ship and also being able to get totally out of the water and wind when you would like. You learn much from watching your friends work on the same stuff too!” Kite the Bay kite boarding company started its operation in 2010. The owner, John von Tesmar, believed a larger, more fully equipped ship, would optimise the kite surfing experience.

“Being a kite surfer in the Bay Area, it helps to be creative with how it is possible to get out on the water for a session. There is not a lot of accessible beaches, but there’s a lot of wind and water. The boat acts like an island ; you can launch your kite from it, and come back to it when you are finished with your session. It’s super convenient and fast! We can go wherever the wind is!” About Kite the Bay John is a captain, approved by the US Coast Guard in 2010, and has been Both a windsurf and kite surf instructor since 1999. This San Francisco kite boarding instructor has spent time and kite surfed in the Columbia Brook Gorge in Oregon, the Outer Banks in North Carolina, and up and down the coast of California.

Repeal Efforts For Motorbike Helmet Laws Ill-judged | Ford Edge Cooling Fan Replacement.

<!–ACNTP

Michigan is one of a number of states with efforts underway to repeal motorcycle helmet laws. Lately, the Michigan Senate passed a bill (HB 4747) aiming to repeal the state’s motorcycle helmet law. “This bill makes no sense. It doesn’t protect motorcyclists who will be seriously hurt when bike accidents necessarily occur. Instead, it guarantees that more motorcycle riders will be hurt or snuffed out. Next, it shifts the money burden of paying up for these injured bikers ‘ medical therapy to the taxpayers and Medicaid,” Gursten said, adding that $100,000 is far too little coverage for the medical expenses most motorbike crash victims need.

“For the catastrophic private kind of wounds,eg traumatising brain injuries and spinal cord wounds that are customarily sustained by a rider in a motorcycle crash without a helmet, $100,000 in medical coverage can be exhausted in the first few days alone,” he pointed out. Gursten has been interviewed by local and nationwide media on helmet repeal efforts. Given a recent tragic story that obviously illustrates the necessity to keep the bike helmet duty in Michigan, CNN claimed that a bareheaded motorcyclist participating in a ride to protest helmet laws was snuffed out in a bike accident. “I’m still surprised by the big jump of logic that motorcycle helmet repeal fans have.

The argument is that requiring bikers to wear a helmet infringes on their private freedom and liberty,” said Gursten. “But these “advocates” ignore that their “liberty” stops when others are then made to pay their doctor’s bills for catastrophic lifetime medical care. Consider the stats : [*HTML1. [*HTML2. Forty five percent of fatally wounded motorcyclists were not wearing their bike helmets. – U.S. Dept of Transport Plan to Reduce Motorbike Deaths (2005) [*HTML3. [*HTML4. Helmet use rates are lower in states that don’t need all riders to use helmets : 68 % of motorcyclists in states requiring helmets wore DOT-compliant helmets, matched against 37 p.c in states not requiring all riders to use helmets.

– U.S. Dept of Transport Plan to Reduce Bike Fatal injuries (2005) [*HTML5. [*HTML6. Helmets are assessed to be 37 percent efficacious in forestalling deadly wounds to motorcyclists.

Gursten : Steven M. Gursten heads Michigan Automobile Law and is known as one of the top motorcycle accident lawyers in the country. He was given the highest motorbike accident settlement in Michigan last year, according to Michigan Lawyers Weekly. Judge Rules Harley Riders May Continue With Overheating And Burn Legal Action Against Harley Davidson | Ford Edge Cooling Fan Replacement.

<!–ACNTP

Last week, a Fed judge ruled that a class action suit against Harley Davidson free press releases could go forward, siding with 4 bike riders who say their Harley Davidson motorbikes were defectively designed because their engines ran so hot as to pose a unceasing danger to riders of being burned and were therefore not fit for their intended use. The complaint alleges that since 1999, Twin Cam 88, 96, 103 and 110 cubic inch engines in Harley bikes produce severe, excessive heat causing clothing to catch on fire, burn wounds and the danger of burn injury to riders and passengers as well as overheating causing early engine wear and in models manufactured after 2006, transmission failure. Although Harley Davidson asked the Eastern District of California court to throw away the claims under state law, the U.S. District Judge sided with the bike riders.

Greg Owen, a partner at LA personal injury attorneys Owen, Patterson & Owen and one of the lawyers representing the plaintiffs in this situation, states, “Harley Davidson has known about that issue from the early 2000s and has the technology to mend it, but has selected to sell many thousands of touring bikes here in California without divulging this known defect. When Harley shoppers complain to Harley’s dealers after purchase, Harley’s reply is that is ordinary and it will not supply an effective fix to the problem.” Owen believes the dangerous heat problem is due to Harley selling bigger engines that cannot comply with the emission standards of many states, including California. ‘The fix is pretty simple, ‘ claims Owen, “and Harley already has it – make touring bikes with liquid cooled engines rather than air cooled engines.

If Harley did that this major design and safety defect would go away.” The present ruling permits the case to progress, and Harley Davidson will now face Class Action Authorization process at the end of the month. Class members are prompted to contact Greg Owen at Owen, Patterson & Owen to get more information, by calling (866) 654-4947. *Case No. 2:10-CV-02443-JAM-EFB in the Eastern District of California Owen, Patterson & Owen represents wounded plaintiffs in consumer crime, faulty products and serious injury cases. Enthusiastic customer advocates, they have demonstrated their power to give significant resources in both cash and time, which has generated hundreds of millions of dollars in recoveries for their clientele.
